We Were Ready For This

This collection is from the professional component of my master’s project at University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. The project focused on the resiliency of the Twin Cities in the wake of Operation Metro Surge, examining how a community comes together to tend and preserve the memorials for those lost to state violence, and how acts of mutual aid and collective protest have become a defining feature of life across the Minneapolis and St. Paul.
