Something I kept hearing from the amazing people of the Twin Cites during the aftermath of Operation Metro Surge was, “we were ready for this.”
This selection of photos is from the professional component of my master’s project at University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. The focus of this project centered on the volunteer caretakers of the Renee Good, Alex Pretti and George Floyd memorials in Minneapolis during the aftermath of Operation Metro Surge.
